audition information

Membership in the orchestra is gained through audition or by invitation of the conductor. We periodically need players during our season to fill vacancies, and have a continuing need for string players.

We have openings for the following key positions for the 2010-2011 season:

• Harp
• Principal trombone, second trombone, third trombone
• Violas
• Substitute woodwind, brass and percussion players
• Additional string players, new players, and members who have not previously auditioned

Auditions will take place on August 31, 2010 at First United Methodist Church.

Concerto Competition Auditions

Dates TBA (usually Jan./Feb.)

Perform with the Pikes Peak Philharmonic. Open to all students through high school level. Cash prize awarded to winner. Time and place TBA. Call 210-8130 for more information.
